Goodbye For Now

Wow…

And just like that my time here in Prague over.

This huge poster was the first thing I saw coming off the airplane 3 months ago. I couldn't agree with it more. I miss this place already and I haven't even left yet!

I've been soaking up every little bit of this city as possible especially trying to make time to watch the sunset every night.

A couple times lounging by the riverside with some friends.

Or taking a little paddleboat cruise.

Or trying to get footage for a time lapse (videos coming soon).

Or from a bench in a vineyard.

Or studying for finals in the park.

Or from beer gardens with live music .

Or just out on a run (are you sick of this view yet?)

This week has been extremely busy studying for finals, packing, and planning.

My last final was this morning, I'm currently moving out of my flat, and tonight Andrea and Jose Maria are arriving in Prague. Cannot WAIT to see them!! After getting to play tourist with them for two days, I embark on my 5 week journey backpacking all around Europe.

I'm going to miss this city so much, along with all the numerous adventures, rich food, and fun-loving people. Our program planned a surprise dinner boat cruise for our last hoorah with everyone in the program.

It seems like just yesterday our naive selves arrived at the airport with our belongings, passport and little to no knowledge on the country we were entering to live for a little over three months. We’ve traveled, missed trains, ended up in the wrong neighborhoods, found “our city,” watched the sunset countless times, packed completely wrong, studied hard, made far too many friends, spent our life savings and made memories that will never be replaced and will forever hold a very special place in our lives. So come next fall when we all become scattered about the US, our hearts will forever remember our special home in Prague.
